When, if ever, can a contractor QA inspect/accept the work of a governemnt employee?

    Answer

The answer to the question depends upon the type of arrangement that exists between the government and the contractor.  In a partnering relationship (that might exist for instance in performance based support)  a government entity such as a depot may act as a subcontractor to a contractor.  In this arrangement the contractor is responsible to the government for the final product, but the depot (acting as a sub to the prime contractor) would be responsible to the prime and while this may not be a FAR type contract between the prime and the depot, some inspection requirements may exist.
