    When removing parts from aircraft we tag and place in stock during aircraft maintenance period. The serviceable and unserviceable tags (Form 1574) are filled out manually which takes considerable time and is moderate risk for errors. Are there contractors who use electronic serviceable tags and is it an acceptable method?


    I cannot be certain what a contractor is using, but there is no DD Form 1574 available electronically on
    In other words they are still ordered in bulk.
