    Can the Contractor request consideration or adjustment to compensate for the difference in cost between the originally purchased travel and the the revised travel?


    Yes, I would consider offering the contractor some sort of equitable adjustment if requested.  It would also depend on whether or not the training will be rescheduled and when.  What has really occurred is a government caused delay or a partial termination for convenience if the government doesn't plan on rescheduling.  It should only effect the CLIN that was established to cover the travel.  There should not be a significant difference in the cost of travel, but there may be some adjustment required on the contractors part.
