    Does the government ever complete vendor's credit applications ?


    Answer

    No. The Government could be liable for misstatements so it should never do that. It could also appear that by doing so, the Government was endorsing the company, which is also a non-starter.

    FAR part 32, Contract financing if the vendor needs financial assistance under the contract.  Please take a look at FAR subpart 32.8, Assignment of Claims.  Under the Assignment of Claims Act, a contractor may assign moneys due or to become due under a contract if specific conditions are met.
