Question
Using FAR Clause 52.222-17, can we request for a list of contractor's employees for only a certain amount of people versus the complete list of contractor's employees?
Answer
The clause and its provision are very straightforward in terms of the lists and when they are to be submitted. In fact, any waivers to the requirements of the regulatory provision (and therefore the clause) must be approved at the Senior Procurement Executive level for the agency. Assuming that the clause is in both contracts, the contractor(s) will have to provide the lists in accordance with the clause as stated, which should include the latter part of the option period as well. I suggest you consult your legal counsel for more specific guidance.
