Question
Can a CDRL be deleted from a contract (SOW, Exhibit A) once a delivery has been made for that CDRL.
Answer
In my response to your question, I am making the assumption that the CDRLs are Not Separately Priced (NSP). If the contractor met the requirement of the SOW and never had to deliver the CDRL requirement (because it wasn't required during performance of the contract), then you should be able to close out the contract as is. For this specific CDRL requirement, the contract file should be documented to include a statement that the delivery was never required during the performance of the contract. I would recommend having the program manager document completion of the SOW requirement as part of the closeout process.
