    Does limiting competition due to an approved brand name Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity and DD2579 prohibit posting an RFQ only to small businesses on an IDIQ as long as is still competitive? The IDIQ does not specifically prohibit only advertising to small businesses.

    Answer

    You can still do a set-aside on the NASA SEWP even if you have an approved brand name justification.  The brand name doesn't limit the type of acquisition you do.  Be sure to check the NASA SEWP rules for additional information
