    An Agreements Officer is used in two instances:

    1. Responsible for the award and administration of TIAs (Technology Investment Agreements). See (32 CFR part 37)
    2. When using Other Transaction Authority (OTAs) An individual with authority to enter into, administer, or terminate OTs for prototype projects and make related determinations and findings.

    A Grants Officer (sometimes called a Grants Manager) is responsible for the award and administration of grants and cooperative agreements (other than TIAs). See (32 CFR part 22)
