OPERATING STATUS
The threshold for requiring Government quality assurance is the simplified acquisition threshold. FAR 46.202-2 places responsibility on the contractor for all testing and inspecting to ensure that services conform to the Government's requirements. DFARS 246.401 confirms this, specifically to QASPs.
