Is A GOCO considered in house work or contracted out work. We believe this will affect the period of availability of funds

    Answer

This response is based on the information provided.  We suggest you discuss with your contracting team, program manager and/or legal department as appropriate.

If sending funds to a government owned, contractor operated organization the funds are going to a contractor (unless you have additional information not in this query).  That would clearly not fall under in-house work.

With that being said, whether the work is being done in-house or by contractor would have no effect on the period of funds availability.  If funds are good for three years, they are good for three years no matter how they are being used.  The same for one, two, or five year periods.
