    Good morning. Our logistics office is trying to create an LCSP/PSS on a non ACAT/MDAP program and I want to know if there's guidance for such actions. Basically, is there a road map or procedures in place to create a LSCP for non- ACAT programs? Thanks in advance.

    Answer

    Within the Department of Defense the recipe for an LCSP is the same regardless of the cost-profile/type of system.  The construct itself if tailorable and applies to nearly every asset the Department of Defense acquires.
