I have a COR that has not earned/input CLPs for two years. Is their DAWIA certification still acceptable for the purposes of acting as a COR?

    Answer

The important thing to remember here is that currently there is no such thing as a DAWIA Certification for CORs. There are only training requirements. This may change in the future.

Refresher Training for CORs: It depends on what type of contract they are a COR for and whether or not they've performed (or are currently performing COR) duties within the past 24 months.  If they have not, these are the requirements:

Type A Contracts: 8 hours of "COR Specific" training every 3 years annual ethics training (CLM 003).

Type B & C Contracts: 16 hours of "COR Specific" training every 3 years annual ethics training (CLM 003).

DoD has not established requirements for COR annual training, that is left up to the Contracting Activity to determine.
