Contract Performance Report (CPR)

APMT 018

DAU GLOSSARY DEFINITION

Method requiring periodic accounting and reporting by the contractor on performance under contract to date.

Definition

The Contract Performance Report (CPR) is a contractually required report, prepared by the contractor, containing performance information derived from the contractor's internal Earned Value Management System (EVMS). It provides status of progress on the contract. (DI-MGMT-81466A). Effective July 1, 2012, CPRs had been superceded by the Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR).  Also, effective Apr 22, 2020, IPMR has been superceded by the Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) (see details below).

General Information

USD(A&S) Memo: Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) Data Item Description (DID), Apr 22, 2020 established the Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR). As directed in this memo, for all contracts that are awarded based on all applicable solicitations or requests for proposal issued after the memo date, the IPMDAR will supercede both the CPR, IMS, and IPMR DIDs. (Note: Contracts issued prior to this date will continue to use CPR, IMS, or IPMR DIDs. It will not be necessary to modify existing contracts.)

The IPMDAR provides maximum reporting flexibility as well as execution transparency by directly aligning to the process in the EIA 748 Standard.
