The 2020 DoD Product Support Manager’s (PSM) Workshop is rapidly approaching! Scheduled for April 14-16, 2020 at the General Jacob E. Smart Center at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, attendees can participate both on-site and via VTC. If you are thinking about attending, highly recommend registering sooner rather than later, as on-site registration will close April 6, 2020 -- and quite possibly sooner if workshop venue reaches capacity prior to that date.

In addition to product support managers and life cycle logisticians, the target audience also includes program managers, systems/sustaining engineering colleagues & industry counterparts. As the seventh in series of highly successful DoD PSM workshops conducted by the department since 2012, the upcoming April 2020 workshop serves as a low or no-cost forum for PSMs to network, consider new strategies to address real-world challenges, and receive/exchange information on policy, best practices, issues and resolutions. The theme of this year’s workshop is “The PSM Challenge – Affordable Readiness”, with daily focus on:

  • Day 1 - Costing, Contracting, and Congress
  • Day 2 - Resolving Tough Issues
  • Day 3 - The Metrics Game

In addition to on-site attendance, VTC options for folks unable to travel to Joint Base Andrews MD include Huntsville AL, Kettering OH, San Diego CA, Sterling Heights MI, Robins AFB GA, Hill AFB UT, and Norfolk VA.
