DAU has deployed CCON 022, the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Purchasing) Credential. This credential was developed for Department of Defense personnel who work in Contracting (1102 job series) and Purchasing (1105 job series), as well as individuals who participate in the Department of Defense Governmentwide Purchase Card Program. CCON 022 provides the skills needed to execute streamlined acquisitions for commercial products and commercial services that do not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold using the policies and procedures of FAR part 13, DFARS part 213, DFARS PGI part 213, and the Department of Defense Government Charge Card Guidebook for Establishing and Managing Purchase, Travel, and Fuel Card Programs.
