Was intrigued by yesterday’s blog post from one of our many innovative colleagues here at DAU entitled “Think Differently: An Innovator’s DNA”. I would highly encourage you to read it.

In it she discusses key principles of thinking differently outlined in “The Innovator’s DNA,” a book by Jeff Dyer, Hal Gregersen and the late Clayton Christensen, specifically focusing on five skills disruptive innovators have in common: associating, questioning, observing, networking and experimenting.

The COVID-19 pandemic not-withstanding, the world in which we live is changing around us at a pace that would have been incomprehensible a generation or two ago. The question, are we not only prepared to adjust to the this rapidly evolving environment, but are we innovators who are prepared to recognize, understand, experiment, and ultimately help shape the transformation? If not, ask yourself what you could, should or need to do to become such an innovator.
