Congratulations to the DoD Maintenance Award Winners
Congratulations to the six Navy, Army, Air Force, and US Marine Corps units for their selection as winners of the 2010 Secretary of Defense Field-level Maintenance Award. According to the OSD Maintenance Policy and Programs (MPP) website, these awards “recognize outstanding achievements by field-level units engaged in military equipment and weapon system maintenance within the Department of Defense”. Each of these outstanding maintenance organizations will be honored in ceremonies tonight at the 2010 DoD Maintenance Symposium in Tampa, Florida. “From these six award winning units, one is singled out and selected as the best of the best, and presented with the Phoenix Trophy, DoD's highest award for maintenance.” The six 2010 winners are:
