Continuous Learning

Bill Kobren

We’re often asked about continuous learning requirements for defense acquisition workforce members. For those who may be wondering, detailed information can be easily accessed from the “Continuous Learning Center” link. Here you will find everything you need to know about DoD continuous learning requirements for acquisition workforce members.

Creditable activities outlined on the well-organized Point Credits page of the continuous learning enter fall into four broad categories: Academic Courses, Training Courses/Modules, Professional Activities, and Experience.

Other suggestions include taking a look at Life Cycle Logistics Level II and Level III DAWIA Certification “pick list” courses that you may not have originally selected when getting certified – or simply selecting training from the “DAWIA Certification & Core Plus Development Guides" in the DAU iCatalog.

Encourage you to take a moment to peruse these sites to get a better idea of recommended competency-based courses and continuous learning modules to consider taking in order to fulfill the DoD continuous learning requirement.
