This past winter, I shared insights into the Army Counterfeit Prevention Program, the Army’s Counterfeit Prevention Portal (CAC required) and the New Army Counterfeit Parts and Materials Prevention Guidebook. In support of our Life Cycle Logistics Supply Support competency to “Effectively establish and manage international and global supply support operations”; Sub-competency: “Lead prevention programs for counterfeit material, malicious hardware and software and unauthorized technology transfer”, wanted to also remind community members we offer a range of counterfeit prevention learning assets in our DAU Life Cycle Logistics portfolio, including:


Additionally, given the importance of the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) in identifying and reporting suspected counterfeit parts, components and assemblies under the auspices of DoD Instruction 4140.67 “DoD Counterfeit Prevention Policy” -- as well as the link between Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS) and non-conforming parts -- DAU also offers a series of no-cost learning assets on DMSMS, parts management, and GIDEP that include:
