DAU ACQuipedia Logistics Portfolio Review Update

Bill Kobren
Your logistics colleagues here at DAU are in the midst of a major review and content update of our entire portfolio of 157 life cycle logistics ACQuipedia articles, which is slated to be compelted later this spring. Just wanted to take a moment to provide you with a quick synopsis of where we stand, including planned development of several new articles and article retirements.

These include a major revision of our Sustainment Reviews (SR) article to better align with the new DoD Instruction 5000.91 and 10 U.S.C. 2441, coupled with retirement of three articles: “Post-IOC Supportability” “Post Deployment Review (PDR)” and “Major Automated Information Systems (MAIS) for Sustainment”. We are also in the process of developing a new article focusing on “Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) Codes”.

When the dust settles that will leave us with a net decrease of one article in the portfolio, bringing us to 156 articles. Two favors: would ask you to please help us spread the word about this outstanding resource we call ACQuipedia, and if you have ideas, suggestions, or requests for new article topics, please let us know.
