Better Business Deals Business Simulation wins Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards Gold Medal for Best Use of Games or Simulations for Learning!

DAU partnered with Advantexe Learning Solutions to develop a capstone business simulation for CON 7200V, Better Business Deals. On August 17, 2023, DAU and Advantexe were notified they won a 2023 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards Gold Medal for Best Use of Games or Simulations for Learning. 

The 2023 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards™ recognizes best practices for initiatives in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Sales Performance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Future of Work.

The Better Business Deals simulation is the capstone to CON 7200V, Better Business Deals, a virtual instructor-led training course that assists our government acquisition professionals negotiate better business deals by more fully understanding how industry works. In the simulation, students take on the role of the Chief Financial Officer making decisions on various investment opportunities and using the results of the simulation to improve their performance in subsequent fiscal years.
