DAU is pleased to announce the return of the DAU South Region’s Annual Acquisition Update
to our Huntsville AL campus Thursday Feb. 22, 2018. With a theme of “Success in a Cross-Functional Acquisition World - Integrating the Stovepipes", this year's event is organized around a series of training seminars, targeted lectures and special presentations from DAU subject matter experts and government and industry acquisition professionals. Each session will focus on how the Defense Acquisition Workforce can integrate various processes across and within programs while navigating the proposed reorganization of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics.
Workforce members can participate either in-person if in the Huntsville, AL area, or via DCS (if geographically separated). The DAU South Region’s Annual Acquisition Update website contains registration information for both options. This is a free event and participants are eligible to claim 1.5 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) for each session they attend, or a maximum of 6 CLPs.
