DAU Webinars for the Week of August 15-19, 2022

Bill Kobren
August is already half over, and we have another week with a range of timely, live, no-cost, short-duration, high-impact professional development opportunities coming your way from your DAU colleagues, with six live events on the docket for this coming week:

For a comprehensive listing of all upcoming no-cost DAU webinars, please visit the DAU Events calendar. For recordings of previously completed DAU webinars, you’re encouraged to also visit the DAU Events page.

Two scheduled webinars in particular that I would highly encourage life cycle logisticians, as well as other defense acquisition workforce members and product support and sustainment professionals to sign up for include:

  • August 2022 “Logistics LIVE!” Webinar. The next offering in this exciting new monthly webinar series will focus on a powerful new resource for DoD product support managers and life cycle logisticians in this Monday August 15, 2022 webcast from 2:00 – 3:00 pm EDT entitled “Logistics Live: Product Support Manager Guidebook”.
  • August 2022 “Sustainment Series” Webinar. The next installment of the quarterly Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Readiness-sponsored webcast series entitled “DoD Sustainment Series: It's the Law - Sustainment Statutory Framework” is slated for Tuesday August 16, 2022, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm EDT. Hosted by Dr Vic Ramdass, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Readiness, this fast-paced, engaging webinar will feature a keynote from Mr Steven Morani, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics followed by a panel and open discussion focused on legislative statutes, reporting requirements, interpretation, and effects of Title 10 for depot maintenance.
