As a follow-on to my previous post on the current edition of the Defense AT&L Magazine, congratulations to the Managing Editor, Assistant Art Director, and the DAU Visual Arts & Press team for DAU’s recent selection as an APEX Award for Excellence winner for the January-February 2013 edition of Defense AT&L Magazine. Nearly 2,100 organizations competed for these Twenty-sixth Annual Awards for Publication Excellence Competition. According to their website, “APEX 2014 awards were based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry -- in the opinion of the judges -- in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence." Coincidentally, that particular issue included two life-cycle logistics/product support-focused articles:
