Wanted to let the life cycle logistics community know that your DAU logistics and sustainment team has deployed a new LOG 104 Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) online training (OLT) course. Replacing the venerable LOG 103 predecessor course, content streamlining and content updates were major aspects of this new course development effort.

Significant enhancements included a newly revamped test bank, as well as reduction in the number of lessons from eleven to seven. This represents an approximately 36% reduction in course length from LOG 103 without loss of fidelity for key competencies. Additionally, updates to terminology and content currency were also added, as well as a short introductory video on why RAM is such a critical aspect of system development. For students who were already enrolled in LOG 103 when the new course went live, they will be allowed to finish the course without having to re-register in LOG 104.
