Several months back, I shared information on the newly issued DoD Instruction 4151.24 Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) Determination Process. As I shared, “while the new instruction does not specifically identify responsibilities for the product support manager (PSM) or the life cycle logistician, by virtue of the fact it outlines extensive responsibilities relating to the program manager (PM), life cycle sustainment planning, the life cycle sustainment plan (LCSP), and the Core Logistics Analysis (CLA), this instruction is something members of our community need to be cognizant of and be prepared to consider in the product support planning and execution for your programs.”
