According to a recent announcement on the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) Human Capital initiatives (HCI) website, “applications are now being accepted for Summer 2023 DCAIP. Kickstart your career by applying for the Summer 2023 DoD College Acquisition Internship Program (DCAIP)! DCAIP is a paid summer hire program that provides sophomore and junior undergraduate college students an opportunity to gain real-world, practical, hands-on experience contributing to national security through working with defense acquisition professionals. October 12, 2022, is the deadline to apply.” For those of you who know eligible college students who might be interested, they are encouraged to apply today!”

Similarly, according to a separate announcement entitled “Register for the SMART Application”, the application cycle is open for the Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service Program.
