The Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment [USD (A&S)] announced the winners of the annual PSM of the year awards in a newly issued November 6, 2019 memo entitled “2019 Secretary of Defense Product Support Manager (PSM) Award Winner Selections”.

According to the memo, “this award recognizes PSMs as key leaders in providing the very best product support for our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines. The award furthers the Defense Acquisition Workforce (DAW) vision of “creating a high quality, high-performing, agile DAW to achieve technological superiority and protect America’s national security.” Please extend my sincere congratulations on behalf of the Secretary of Defense to this year’s winners. Attached (to the memorandum) is a summary of the awardees’ outstanding accomplishments. The award winners will be recognized at the 2020 Office of the Secretary of Defense Product Support Manager Workshop, followed by formal presentation of the award at their commands.”

This year’s winners hail from the V-22 Joint Program Office (US Navy) and Application Program Management Office Establishment Systems (US Marine Corps). Congratulations to both selectees!
