In conjunction with the issuance last week of the new DoD Instruction 5000.91, “Product Support Management for the Adaptive Acquisition Framework” please note that this new policy also incorporates and cancels Appendix 3D of DoD Instruction 5000.85, “Major Capability Acquisition (MCA),” dated August 6, 2020.

Also noteworthy is the fact that the department concurrently issued a new Change 1 to DoD Instruction 5000.85, “Major Capability Acquisition (MCA)” removing Appendix 3D Product Support.
