DoD recently issued an updated version of DoD Instruction 4000.19 Support Agreements policy. For those not familiar with this instruction, the purpose of this document is to “establish policy, assign responsibilities, and prescribe procedures for support agreements” This is of particular interest to life cycle logistics workforce members and product support managers (PSM) charged with developing and implementing Product Support Arrangement (PSA), including agreements between organic public sector Product Support Providers (PSP), Product Support Integrator(s) (PSI) , and/or the Product Support Manager (PSM) as part of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) product support arrangements.
