GW Law’s MSL in Government Procurement offers government procurement professionals a competitive advantage

The George Washington University Law School is proud to announce a new, 24-credit Master of Studies in Law (MSL) for Government Procurement that is being offered both online and on campus. The MSL is designed for acquisition professionals who seek added credibility and a competitive advantage in the field by deepening their understanding of the laws, regulations, and policies underlying government contract decision-making.

Level 2 and Level 3 certified acquisition professionals can now transfer up to 6 DAU credits toward the MSL degree.

Who should apply:
Working professionals who:
-hold a college degree or equivalent,
-have at least five years of related professional experience, and
-are not interested in earning a law degree or practicing law.

The program’s hallmark is its flexibility, which allows students to design a course load individually tailored to meet their needs. Full-time students may complete the degree in one year, and part-time students may take one or two courses a semester to complete the degree over a longer period. Classes are offered both online and at GW Law’s Foggy Bottom campus, in the heart of Washington, D.C.
Founded in 1960 by trailblazing practitioner-scholars Ralph Nash and John Cibinic, GW Law’s government procurement law program was the first in the nation. The program and its faculty have received national and global recognition for excellence, most recently earning the National Contract Management Association's 2018 Contract Management Education Award. The law school is accredited by the American Bar Association and is a charter member of the Association of American Law Schools
