The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Readiness has issued a handy new “DoD Materiel Readiness 2022 Fact Card”. This handy resource provides a synopsis of key information on DoD maintenance, organic industrial base, depot level maintenance, statutes, initiatives, policies, and governance.

Note that the numbers of several of the statutory requirements listed in this fact card have changed as a result of a reorganization of Part V (“Acquisition”) of Subtitle A of Title 10, U.S. Code. Specifically 10 USC 2366a Major defense acquisition programs: determination required before Milestone A approval has been redesignated as 10 U.S.C. 4251 and 10 USC 2366b Major defense acquisition programs: certification required before Milestone B approval has been redesignated as 10 U.S.C. 4252.
