For those who may not be aware, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land & Maritime team with support from SRI International who serves as their prime contractor, provides technical solutions for microcircuit obsolescence and manages Microcircuit Emulation Programs, including the Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) and the Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME) programs that can be utilized during any phase of a weapon system’s life cycle.
