Let the tour of DAU online resources continue! For those of you who may not be familiar with the wide-array of resources available from the Logistics Community of Practice (LOG CoP), today’s blog post represents the fourth in a multi-part “virtual tour”. As previously stated, this tour serves several purposes: not only to coincide with a website content refresh, but also to introduce the capabilities of this long-standing life cycle logistics and product support resource to a new generation of potential users.

Thus far, we have examined the LOG CoP homepage (Part 1), the Key Product Support References page (Part 2), and two closely aligned, readily accessible sites, the PBL and DMSMS CoPs (Part 3).

In Part 4 today, wanted to introduce you to the Product Support Manager Reference Repository. Containing what quite possibly might be the most comprehensive information repository available for DoD Product Support Managers (PSM) this site contains detailed –and easily discoverable information on PSM resources and references in eight key areas:

  • Statutory Requirements
  • DoD Policy
  • DoD Guidance
  • Articles and GAO Reports
  • DAU LOG Blogs
  • PSM Awards
  • Tools and Training
  • DoD PSM Workshops

Coming up tomorrow: LOG CoP Virtual Tour (Part 5), in which we examine the wealth of available -- and very handy -- Life Cycle Logistics Professional Development resources.
