Quick blog post to let the community know that DAU will be hosting our next on-site Hot Topic Training Forum on the subject of “Managing Technology in an Interesting Unmanageable World” at our DAU Fort Belvoir Campus, Scott Hall (Bldg 226) on Wednesday January 22, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM (EST). It will also be available remotely via Live Stream or WebEx.

The presenter is a a national security professional and technology expert currently employed by the Rand Corporation, who has served the United States not only in senior government positions but also in uniform, in industry, in academia, and in think tanks. As a senior government civilian official, he was acting undersecretary and deputy undersecretary in the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate. Our speaker’s most recent book is The Story of Technology: How We Got Here and What the Future Holds (Oct 2019).
