Complementing the publicly accessible Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Community of Practice (AM CoP) hosted here at DAU, wanted to advise defense acquisition workforce members of another excellent resource available from our Department of Navy colleagues. If you have a few minutes, check out the Navy Additive Manufacturing Community Online site.

According to the site curator, the Navy created this site “as a secure (CAC-enabled) social media environment for the entire Additive Manufacturing (AM) community. The goal is to provide a place the community can come together, and to  make it easier to share information, network, and find help when we need it for AM-related efforts. DoD, Army and Air Force personnel are invited to join as well.”  Recommend taking a few minutes to visit this robust Navy Additive Manufacturing Community site and peruse the extensive resources and useful information available.
