Quick reminder that the initial offering of our new "Additive Manufacturing is Here" DAU Webcast Series is scheduled for next week!  The inaugural session will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2020 from 12:30-2:00 pm EST.

  • Details: This educational webinar series will help you understand how Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) is being applied today in the DoD.  Subject matter experts will share the latest on strategy, policy and current applications of Additive Manufacturing focusing on advances in quality control and reliability.    This series will promote how additive manufacturing can be adopted to modernize weapons systems, increase materiel readiness, and enhance warfighter innovation & capability.
  • Description:  How far have we really come using Additive Manufacturing? A joint panel will answer questions on current policy and strategy, processes and scale of implementation across the Services, level of confidence in the use of AM and technology advances. This panel will be moderated by none other than the OUSD R&E, Director, Manufacturing Technologies Office, with a veritable 'who's who' of subject matter expert panelists representing OPNAV N414, the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) and DLA Information Logistics .
