Our logistics management colleagues at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) have deployed a powerful new resource called the Product Support Contract Requirements Tool (PSCRT). Developed to assist Product Support Managers (PSM), Program Managers, and life cycle logisticians to craft language for common product support tasks within a Statement of Work (SOW), we have worked with AFLCMC to host this tool in our DAU tools catalog.

According to the developers, “the PSCRT does not replace the judgement of a decision maker, and is not intended to be used without careful consideration of how to adapt each task to the specifics of a program. The PSCRT includes suggested SOW language and tailoring considerations written by subject matter experts across the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements. Tailoring the SOW language and Data Item Descriptions (DID) are required by users to ensure each requirement is consistent with the programs product support strategy and requirements.”

Regardless of which organization or Service you hail from, encourage you to check out this new Air Force tool!
