New ALD 0060 Acquisition Leader Training
Wanted to let the life cycle logistics functional area community know that your DAU colleagues have deployed another new interdisciplinary acquisition leader development online training (OLT) course entitled ALD 0060 Leading-Managing-Contributing. This new course is the seventh in a series of new, short-duration, no-tuition cost OLT courses from your DAU teammates that now includes:
- ALD 0010 Mastering the Strategic Moment
- ALD 0020 Mindfulness
- ALD 0030 Professionalism
- ALD 0040 Five Dimension of Leadership
- ALD 0050 VUCA Leadership
- ALD 0060 Leading-Managing-Contributing
- ALD 0070 Growing as an Acquisition Leader
This new ALD 0060 micro-course explores the three key roles leaders play – leader, manager, and contributor – and we will help you identify characteristics that you might want to work on developing so you can push yourself outside the comfort zone of “effective” and take on each of these roles. The target audience is all defense acquisition workforce professionals at all levels who seek to learn ways to get things done with and through others, deal with workplace challenges, and prepare to take on new roles.
Encourage DoD life cycle logisticians, product support managers, and where applicable, their industry counterparts to consider registering for these new acquisition leade development-focused learning assets. Additionally, to augment professional growth and personal development, we also offer government employees access to more than forty short, two-hour Harvard Business School (HBS) online training courses on a variety of leadership and management topics.
