New Contract Administration Credential Available!!
Mr. Bryan Johns
DAU is proud to launch CCON 013, Contract Administration Special Topics Credential. The subject of contract administration is broad, and it includes planning, negotiation, execution, and performance of a contract; everything from award to closeout. CCON 013 consists of six core On-Line Training (OLT) courses, along with links to additional job aids and other resources.

Your journey begins with CMC 1000, Introduction to DCMA Contract Administration. Although the course title references the Defense Contract Management Agency, the topics and principles covered are applicable to most contract administration functions. Next is CON 216, Legal Considerations in Contracting, which covers the interplay between the constitutional, statutory, regulatory, and judicial considerations that make government contracting different than in the private sector.

The remaining four courses: CLC 106, Contracting Officer's Representative with a Mission Focus; CLC 028, Past Performance Information; CLC 065, Suspension and Debarment; and CMC 1500, Introduction to Terminations, may be taken in any order you desire.

By the time you complete the courses that comprise the Contract Administration Special Topics Credential, you will have learned many remedies that you can engage to handle challenging situations, such as contractor non-compliance, non-performance, fraud, and even the changing needs of the government. The combination of these courses, the job aids introduced therein, and other resources made available to you will provide you with a toolbox of knowledge to help you administer government contracts.
