New Cyber Resilient Engineering Credentials
DAU has released two new credentials on engineering cyber resilient systems.
DoD's defense systems must be designed from the start to be resilient to today's and tomorrow's cyber threats. These two credentials prepare acquisition workforce members to build resiliency into the design of our systems.
CCYB 003- Fundamentals of Secure Cyber Resilient Engineering credential was developed to equip DoD professionals with a comprehensive understanding of secure cyber resilient engineering. The 15 hour, 4 course sequence covers the basics of cybersecurity as practiced in DoD, supply chain risk management, software assurance and cyber resiliency. Registration info is available at CCYB 003 | www.dau.edu
The second credential, CCYB 004-Intermediate Secure Cyber Resilient Engineering Credential digs more deeply, using a muli-faceted hands-on approach where students collaborate in teams to assess cyber threats and countermeasures through cyber training ranges, cyber table top exercises and simulated environments. This 52 hour program is delivered through virtual instructor lead training across 3 courses. More information is available at CCYB 004 | www.dau.edu.
This comprehensive training program provides cybersecurity and systems engineering professionals the knowledge and skills they need to design cyber resiliency into our defense systems.
