New DAU Designing Supportable Systems Credential
Bill Kobren
Your DAU colleagues are pleased to announce the deployment of our 11th multi-disciplinary Life Cycle Logistics credential entitled “CLCL 006 Designing Supportable Systems Credential”. Aligned with the Design Interface Integrated Product Support (IPS) Element, this new credential is now available for student registration.

This exciting new product support credential brings together 11 on-line training (OLT) courses and supporting resources to offer a comprehensive overview and application of designing supportable weapon systems. The credential is based on the Design Interface Integrated Product Support (IPS) element and identifies key activities and responsibilities to facilitate designing supportable systems. Students must successfully complete each of the courses, a capstone exercise, and summative examination to demonstrate the ability to apply what they have learned. The target audience for this exciting new credential is defense acquisition workforce and sustainment personnel, including but not limited to life cycle logisticians, product support managers (PSM), program managers (PM), and systems engineers.

With four additional product support-focused credentials slated to deploy in the coming months, we now have eleven life cycle logistics credentials available, including:
