A quick follow-up to yesterday’s DAU LOG Blog post entitled “New Acquisition Leadership Training Opportunities” to let the life cycle logistics community know that, in addition to last week’s launch of ALD 0050 VUCA Leadership and ALD 0070 Growing as an Acquisition Leader, our colleagues here at DAU have deployed yet another new online training course in this growing series of learning assets, in this case entitled ALD 040 Five Dimensions of Leadership.

This brings to six the number of these new, no-tuition cost Acquisition Leadership Development online training courses:

ALD 040 helps students imagine an approach to leadership that is not so much about one way of leading as it is about exploring your dominant leadership style and exploiting your not-so-dominant leadership styles. How would that change the future you create? This micro-course discusses the Five Dimensions of Leadership, an important topic for the person taking responsibility to effect the personal change necessary to realize their vision of becoming a leader in Defense Acquisition. The target audience for this new course includes acquisition professionals at all levels who seek to learn ways to get things done with and through others, deal with workplace challenges, and prepare to take on new roles. Encourage DoD life cycle logisticians, product support managers, and where applicable, their industry counterparts to consider registering for these two new leadership-focused learning assets.
