Wanted to let the life cycle logistics and product support manager community know that DAU, in conjunction with the DoD packaging community, has developed and today deployed a new CLL 113 Packaging of Hazardous Materials online training (OLT) course.

This new course, which complements our existing CLL 013 DoD Packaging training, addresses the importance of properly and safely packaging hazardous material. It contains an overview of hazardous material modal regulations, documentation requirements and a six-step process for the safe packaging of all hazard material. These six steps include identifying hazardous materials, searching the DOD Performance Oriented Packaging (POP) program for tested packages, packaging materials used to protect hazardous materials, marking and labeling hazardous materials.
