New Incentive Contacting Training from DAU
Wanted to let the product support community know that our DAU Contracting colleagues have deployed a new CLC 137 Advanced Issues in Incentive Contracting continuous learning module. Designed to complement the existing CLC 135 Understanding Incentive and Other Contract Types, this new module is designed to acquisition professionals with knowledge to effectively apply the basic principles of an incentive contracting arrangement in order to build successful business arrangements that maximize the value for all parties.
For related information, see also my January 2017 blog post entitled New "Understanding Incentive and Other Contract Types" Training Now Available, as well as two related ACQuipedia articles entitled “Incentives – Motivating Achievement of Desired Product Support Outcomes” and “Incentive Contracting – Incentives, Award Fee, Award Term”.
Speaking of ACQuipedia, please note the banner announcement on the ACQuipedia homepage advising that “effective 27 September 2017, ACQuipedia functionality for suggesting or adding new content will be temporarily disabled in order to allow us to migrate the tool to the new DAU.mil site. We anticipate to have full functionality restored, and the migration completed, NLT 10 October. Users can still search and access existing articles during this period. Thank you for your continued support of ACQuipedia.”
