New Independent Government Cost Estimate for Services Acquisition Training
DAU has deployed a new online training (OLT) training course entitled CLM 006 Independent Government Cost Estimate for Services Acquisition.
Course overview: Cost estimates are necessary for government acquisition programs for many reasons: to support decisions about funding one program over another, to develop annual budget requests, to evaluate resource requirements at key decision points, and to develop performance measurement baselines. Moreover, having a realistic estimate of projected costs makes for effective resource allocation, and it increases the probability of a program's success. The course takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
See a recent announcement from our Acquisition-Program Management Center for additional details.
