New Joint Electronics Type Designation Automated System (JETDAS) Regulation/Instruction
In case readers of this blog were not already aware, a new joint service “Army Regulation 70–76/ SECNAVINST 2830.1/ AFI 60–105 Joint Electronics Type Designation Automated System” was issued late last month.
This new joint service regulation/instruction identifies the responsibilities and administration of the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Marine Corps involving the Joint Electronics Type Designation Automated System (also called JETDAS), and establishes policies for the Joint Electronic Type Designation Automated System. The new document also supports implementation of MIL-STD-196F Joint Electronics Type Designation System.
