New Program Requirements Development Training
DAU yesterday deployed its newest online training course entitled “ACQ 0811 Program Requirements Development”. The purpose of this new training course is to provide defense acquisition workforce and requirements management personnel with a high-level overview training of the Program Requirements Development (PRD) process used to develop accurate, auditable, and defensible environmental restoration program that aligns with Air Force and DoD mission requirements and guidance. This process includes standardized business processes that ensure consistency across installations resulting in a cohesive program, including foreseeable out-year requirements. The target audience is primarily restoration personnel who sign PRD Environmental Liabilities audit files. For additional insights, see also the DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Environmental Liabilities Best Practices Guide, as well as a DAU LOG Blog post from earlier this year entitled “Property and Equipment Management & FIAR Refresher”.
