BCE 0030 – The Basics of Cost Analysis:

This Online Training (OLT) course introduces cost analysis to individuals outside the cost estimating field. It explains why the DoD creates cost estimates, what comprises these estimates, the significance of accurate data, and methods for evaluating the quality of a finished cost estimate. By the end of the course, students will be able to recognize the purpose of DoD cost estimates, identify their components, understand the importance of data, and apply best practices for reviewing completed estimates.

This course is designed for those who want to learn the fundamentals of cost analysis and apply it to program and budget decisions.
