BCE 2060V - Applied Risk and Uncertainty Analysis:

This Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) course is designed for hands on training.  Student will utilize the Monte Carlo simulation tool and Excel to support group case study exercises to perform analysis and apply critical thinking skills that target the following learning objectives: 1) Review probability concepts used in Risk and Uncertainty Analysis; 2) Review Uncertainty Modeling Approaches; 3) Recognize the relationship between the Point Estimate and Risk and Uncertainty Analysis; 4) Identify Elements of Risk and Uncertainty; 5) Apply Uncertainty for a Risk and Uncertainty Analysis; 6) Apply Risk for a Risk and Uncertainty Analysis; 7) Apply the Uncertainty Simulation Process; 8) Interpret the Simulation Results; 9) Review methods for incorporating Probability Adjustment dollars into the Estimate; and 10)  Communicate Uncertainty Analysis Results

This course replaces BCE 206V.  Individuals are required to have completed BCE 0420 – Introduction to Risk and Uncertainty and BCE 1000 – Fundamentals of Cost Estimating prior to taking this course.

It is highly recommended that individuals also complete BCE 0010 – Introduction to Cost Modeling and BCE 2000V Intermediate Cost Estimating

The target audience for this course is anyone in interested in understanding how to conduct Risk and Uncertainty Analysis.

BCE 2060V - Applied Risk and Uncertainty Analysis is one of several courses developed by DAU Business Center in support of CBCE 003 - Understanding Risk and Uncertainty Credential.  We hope you enjoy this new training asset.   Click this link to register for this training.
